MTV’s “Siesta Key” star Pauly Paul has been arrested for driving under the influence. He was caught driving a Mercedes at a high speed in Sarasota, Florida while drunk.
Pauly Paul was driving a Mercedes at a speed of 74 MPH in a 40 MPH zone. He was spotted by a police officer who then pulled him over.
Despite slowing down initially, Paul accelerated the car again, which led the officer to stop him. The police officer reported that Paul had two passengers in the car with him.
The officer claimed that Paul displayed signs of being intoxicated. He smelled of alcohol, had bloodshot eyes, and was slurring his speech.
The officer also noticed that he stumbled while getting out of the car, and there was a smell of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.
Pauly Paul claimed that he had only consumed two drinks at a friend’s house and that he would pass the field sobriety test.
However, he failed the sobriety test and was arrested for DUI. The police conducted a breathalyzer test at the station, which showed that his blood alcohol level was between .151 and .157, which is just below the legal limit of .08.
After posting a bond of $240, Paul was released. When contacted by the media, he did not provide any comment.
