As gun violence and attacks continue to surge in various states across America, security services and prosecutors have also up their game by making sure those who perpetrate such crimes are brought to book and punished.
In a recent shooting that took the life of a 20-years old woman, Kaylin Gillis, Kevin Monahan who fired the shots was arrested and is being arranged before the court.
As reported by Washington County Sheriff’s, Kaylin Gillis and his friends were in a car looking for a friend’s house when they mistakenly pulled up at Kevin Monahan’s house, just as the group was about to leave the house, Kevin opened fire, and Kaylin Gillis got struck by one of the bullets.
“This is a very sad case of some young adults who were looking for a friend’s house and ended up at this man’s house who decided to come out with a firearm and discharge it,” Murphy said.

Kevin Monahan, 65, was arrested and charged with the second-degree murder of Kaylin Gillis, Sheriff Jeffrey Murphy said during a Monday press conference.
