Brit Hume has been married twice. He first married Clare Jacobs Stoner in 1966, and they had two children together. They divorced in 1993, and Hume later married his second wife, Kim Schiller Hume, in 1993. They also have two children together.

In addition to his career in journalism, Hume is an avid golfer and has participated in several celebrity golf tournaments. He is also known for his dry wit and sense of humor, which he has displayed on numerous occasions during his career.
