Meet Serwaa Amihere, Ghanaian broadcast journalist and news presenter


Serwaa Amihere is a Ghanaian broadcast journalist and news presenter. She was born on 8 March 1990 to Frank Yeboah and Lydia Tetteh.

Serwaa is currently a host on GHOne TV and produces Current Affairs.

After attending Yaa Asantewaa Girl’s SHS, Serwaa obtained a Degree in Banking and Finance from the Methodist University College, Ghana.


She began her media career as an entertainment and lifestyle enthusiast on GHOne Tv’s entertainment & lifestyle show, the Glitterati.

Serwaa has won multiple awards, including Best Television Female Newscaster of the Year at the 2018 Radio and Television Personality Awards, and Best TV Newscaster of the Year three times in a row at the RTP Awards.

She was also named Producer of the Year at the Golden Movie Awards. Additionally, she has been nominated for Most Influential Young Media Personality by Avance Media in 2018.
