Berla Mundi is a Ghanaian media personality, women’s advocate, and voice artist, known for her exceptional work in Ghanaian media.
She has made her mark as a renowned TV and radio host, an influencer, and a role model for young women.
Born on 1 April 1988 in Ghana, Berla Addardey Mundi attended St. Theresa’s School and Achimota School.
She later went on to the University of Ghana, where she studied linguistics and psychology.
Her passion for French led her to study the language at Alliance Francais. She also attended the Ghana Institute of Journalism, where she honed her media skills.
The Rise of Berla Mundi
Berla’s media career started in 2010 when she became the second runner-up at the Miss Malaika beauty pageant.
She then joined GHOne TV, a subsidiary of the EIB Network, where she worked for five years.
Currently, she works with TV3 Ghana, a subsidiary of Media General Ghana Limited, where she has hosted several reality shows and corporate events.
Berla has been an exceptional TV host, and in 2017, she co-hosted the 20th VGMA with Kwami Sefa Kayi.
She has also hosted Africa’s first syndicated show on DSTV, Moment with MO.
Berla was named the most influential Ghanaian in 2017 by Avance Media, a testament to her hard work and dedication to her craft.

Berla Mundi is passionate about fighting for young women, and she launched the Berla Mundi Foundation in 2015.
The foundation aims to offer skills training to young women to empower them to achieve their goals.
Berla’s mission is to create a world of possibilities for girls by encouraging them to believe in themselves, pursue their dreams and achieve their goals.
In 2018, Berla launched a mentoring and career guidance project that has helped many young women acquire essential skills and knowledge for their personal and professional growth.
Her efforts to empower young women have earned her numerous accolades, including the Most Stylish Media Personality at the Glitz Style Awards in 2017.
Berla Mundi’s Recognition and Awards
Berla Mundi has received several awards for her exceptional work in Ghanaian media.
In 2017, she won the Favorite TV Presenter at the Peoples Choice Celebrity Awards. She has also named the Best Female Events MC at the Ghana Events Awards in the same year.
In 2018, Berla won the TV Female Entertainment Show Host of the Year at the RTP Awards, and she was also awarded the Media Personality of the Year at the Glitz Style Awards.
