Shaquil Barrett, a linebacker for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, has suffered a tragic loss. His two-year-old daughter, Arrayah, drowned in their pool just days after her birthday.
The Buccaneers released a statement expressing their condolences to Shaquil Barrett and his family.
They called the news “heartbreaking” and offered their support and love during this difficult time.
Arrayah Barrett Cause Of Death
The police confirmed that Arrayah was transported to a hospital after falling into the water. Despite efforts to save her, she was pronounced dead shortly after.
It’s unclear what led to the accident, but the police say that it doesn’t appear to be suspicious. An investigation is ongoing, and Shaq has not commented.
Arrayah had just turned 2 years old on April 19th. Shaq posted a tribute to her on social media, calling her sweet and cute and saying that she made their family complete.
Shaq and his wife, Jordanna, are raising three other children together, aged 11, 9, and 8.
