Savannah Kapis, an 18-year-old resident of Valley View, passed away due to a motorcycle accident that occurred in Brooklyn Heights. The accident happened on Saturday night on West Granger Road.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that a motorcycle, heading westbound on the road, veered off the right side of the road and hit a curb.

Savannah Kapis, the driver, was thrown from the motorcycle despite wearing a helmet. She was transported to the MetroHealth Medical Center by emergency medical services but was pronounced dead.
An inquiry into the crash is still ongoing at the moment. The Ohio State Highway Patrol was aided by the Cuyahoga Heights Police Department, the Brooklyn Heights Police Department, as well as fire and emergency medical services.
