Belgian snooker player, Luca Brecel, has had an impressive career since he turned professional in 2011.
Brecel started his professional career by beating Anthony Hamilton in his first match.
In just a few short months, he climbed up the world rankings and by August of 2011, he had reached the 87th spot.
At the same time, fellow Belgian, Bjorn Haneveer, was ranked 65th.
The following year, in January 2012, Brecel achieved his first maximum break in an amateur tournament.
Throughout that season, he played in all 12 of the minor-ranking Players Tour Championship events.
His best finishes came in Event 2, Event 8, and Event 9, where he reached the last 32 each time.
By the end of the season, he had finished 69th on the Order of Merit.
Brecel made history at the 2012 World Snooker Championship, becoming the youngest player ever to qualify for the tournament.
He achieved this feat after defeating Ian McCulloch, Barry Pinches, Michael Holt, and Mark King.
This impressive achievement broke the previous record held by Stephen Hendry since 1986.
Brecel was almost two months younger than Hendry when he qualified for the tournament.
Brecel was also one of only five players to have qualified for the tournament under the age of 18.
Although he lost in the first round to Stephen Maguire by 5-10, he had achieved a significant milestone in his career.
