An NYPD patrol car was shot in Brooklyn while two police officers were inside.

The incident occurred on Saturday in Greenpoint at the intersection of Morgan Avenue and Richardson Street in the 94th Precinct.

The back window of the patrol car was shot out, and police sources reported that it is unclear whether the shot was intentional or a stray bullet.

 Although there was a large hole in the back window of the patrol car, both officers inside were unharmed.

As of early Sunday, the gunman responsible for the shooting had not been apprehended. Police are still investigating the incident and searching for the suspect.
