Nine people have been arrested in connection with the death of Kwabena Osei-Poku, a 19-year-old Advertising and Digital Marketing Foundation student at the University of Northampton.

He was fatally stabbed outside the university campus on Sunday evening.

The police were informed about the stabbing around 8:40 pm on Sunday, and upon arriving at the scene, they found the victim with serious injuries.

Despite efforts by paramedics, he died at the scene. The victim has been identified as Kwabena Osei-Poku from Peterborough.

Four people, including two men aged 19 and two 18-year-old women, were arrested in connection with the incident. They have been released on bail.

Three men aged 19, one man aged 18, and one woman aged 19 remain in police custody.

Detective Inspector Simon Barnes from Northamptonshire Police has stated that the investigation is moving at a fast pace.

Multiple lines of enquiry are being followed to piece together the events that led to the death of Kwabena Osei-Poku.
