The announcement was made during the Starfire Sonorant concert, as part of the third-anniversary celebration for Honkai Impact 3rd.
If you’re a fan of Genshin Impact, you’ll find some similarities in Honkai Star Rail, including turn-based combat and various systems.

Honkai: Star Rail release date
The Honkai Star Rail release date is set for April 25, 2023. You won’t have to wait too long to get your hands on the game, as pre-installation has already begun.
The game will launch at 19:00 PT / 22:00 ET / April 26, 03:00 BST.

If you missed out on the previous closed betas, don’t worry! The third and final closed beta is now complete on mobile and PC.
The first closed beta was only available to iPhone users, but the second beta was available on multiple platforms.
During the announcement, Hoyoverse also revealed that they are currently working on a PlayStation version of Honkai Star Rail.
While we don’t have a release date for that just yet, we can’t wait to see what the future holds for the game.
