South Dakota’s Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal one-vehicle crash that occurred on Sunday southwest of Sinai, which claimed the life of a 61-year-old Brookings man.

According to the Highway Patrol, Colburn was driving his 2004 Subaru Legacy southbound on 457th Avenue near 218th Street when his vehicle entered the east ditch and rolled multiple times.
