Sage Northcutt is an American professional mixed martial artist who started training in mixed martial arts at the age of 4. He has won 77 world youth championships in karate and was an undefeated kickboxer.

Northcutt attended Seven Lakes High School before transferring to Katy High School, where he also trained and competed in wrestling. He dropped out of Texas A&M University’s NCWA wrestling club to pursue his mixed martial arts career.

Northcutt has competed in both Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and ONE Championship, and he is currently signed with ONE Championship.

He made his professional debut at the age of 18 in the Legacy Fighting Championship amateur mixed martial arts (MMA) series.

Northcutt won his first two UFC fights but lost his welterweight debut against Bryan Barberena. He returned to lightweight and won two fights before losing his second welterweight bout against Mickey Gall.

Northcutt signed with ONE Championship in 2018 and made his debut against Cosmo Alexandre in 2019, which he lost in 29 seconds and resulted in eight facial fractures requiring surgical repair.

He moved down two weight classes to compete at featherweight in ONE Championship and was scheduled to fight Shinya Aoki in April 2021 but withdrew from the bout due to lingering COVID-19 effects.

Northcutt comes from a family of martial artists, with his father and sister also being professional martial artists.
